Janet is putting the finishing touches on her as yet untitled new CD. Recorded by fellow Blue Jordan artist Mike Helm, the CD is tentatively scheduled to be released in the late Summer of 2006. Check back for details.

 

November 26, 2005

Janet has recorded several traditional and not so traditional advent songs for an EP entitled; Songs To Sing in a Cathedral at Advent, as a companion to the series of Advent services she will be leading at Saint Elizabeth's Cathedral (Vineyard Central). Those songs are available to download for free at the Vineyard Central website here . If you wish to participate in the services, they take place every Sunday at 6:00 from Nov. 27th to Dec. 24th. Saint Elizabeth's cathedral is located at 1757 Mills Avenue / Norwood, Ohio 45212.

Janet has recorded two new tracks for the Blue Jordan Music Sampler 2005. The songs; Fighting To Find Free and Come Thou Fount, will both be featured on that sampler at the Blue Jordan Spring Songs 2005 April 16th, 2005 at Old Saint George in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 

September 3, 2003

Janet has been chosen to perform on the Main Stage at the regions biggest folk and acoustic music festival; Tall Stacks. She and the band will play at the P & G Pavillion Stage on Saturday, October 18th right before Bo Diddley and Keb Mo.

 

December 21, 2000

A Deeper State of Blue is named one of Cincinnati CityBeat Magazine's Top Local CD's of 2000 in its annual year-end music review, "Cincinnati's Finest". Reviewer Mike Breen calls Janet's sophomore release "a magnificent piece of work".

 

October 14th, 2000

Janet has been nominated for Best Folk Artist of the Year and for Songwriter of the Year in the 2000 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards, presented by CityBeat.
