Katie
Reider was one of the most beloved performers to come out of
Cincinnati, with a personality that literally filled the room.
She combined John Mayer charisma with Ellen DeGeneres wit, and topped it all off with a songwriting
style reminiscent of an early Shawn Colvin.
In a day and age when independent musicians saturate the market, thousands of fans will confess that Katie Reider had
that "star quality." She could make you
laugh—she may even have made you cry—and her genuine talent keeps
winning fans to this day. Katie died on July 14, 2008 at the age
of 30 and we miss her dearly.. and yet her music lives on.
